crappie and redfin pickerel

hew guys im a newby to this site and i am getting a 40 gallon pretty soon and i have researched alot about pickerel and crappie and it can be done in that tank and i just want to know how many minnows would 1 crappie and 1 pickerel would eat in a week

Maybe grow out for the crappie, I'll let other members chime in.

Well to start off what size forty. If it's a wide a crappie might be ok but they can exceed a foot. I have caught 14 inchers so I wouldn't unless you get one small and grow it out. Then you aren't going to want to feed minnows. You should buy one that is already on pellets or wean it onto pellets.

both these fish will outgrow a 40gal within a year or so.
