First, pictures of my own stuff.

This is my 10 gallon plant filtered setup, inside the tank are some Amazon Swords, a bunch of Java Moss, and some Duckweed. There are also some Pothos clippings and an unknown Spider Plant like plant in the filter. Fish stock is 3 Cardinals, 3 Pencil Fish, 2 Bleeding Hearts, 2 Sterbai Cories, and 2 Zebra Ottos. The plants on the wall are fake and the 2.5 gallon on the left houses my newts.

Pencil Fish, these guys were an impulse buy that have quickly turned into one of my favorites. They are very outgoing for such small fish.

I had a friend pick me up two Oriental Firebelly Newts at a reptile expo last week, these guys are very interesting to watch.

Guianacara sphenozona, I got 6 of these guys at petsmart labled as blue rams. My male Severum went on a killing spree and now there are only 2 left

Now for some pictures from the New England Aquarium

Suriname Toad exhibit, This is a 4'x3' 200 gallon that houses three toads and a bunch of juvenile psittacus. The tank is heavily planted so it's not surprising that you can't usually see the toads.

Big Ol' Pacu. This guy loves brussels sprouts.

pictures2012.jpg

Large WC Angel at least 9" tall

pictures2013.jpg

Green Anaconda named Wilson, she's the "baby" of the group at about 9'

pictures2089.jpg

Wilson's sister Marion eating a rabbit, she's a little over 11'

Enjoy! :D

Nice Colin thanks for contributing! I like the newts, I have always wanted one but never kept one. Is this the zoo your working at? That's a crazy planted setup.

Looks good. I think I need a new P&S...everyone else's P&S seems to be getting some nice shots while mine sucks:irked:

Thanks Justin! The newts are pretty cool, kinda like an axolotl but smaller. And yeah this is the place I'm volunteering, The toads have done a number on the plants since the picture was taken but it still looks pretty good. I really need to take a picture of the electric eel exhibit, it's about 4 times the size of the toad tank and very heavily planted.

Thank you! I used a Casio Exilim, it's takes decent pictures and has the added benefit of being waterproof to 10', that way I don't have to worry about keeping it dry.
