Crash or ok?

I have a 90 gallon tank with 26 african cichlids thats been running for a few years now.If i down sized to 5 would it crash the tank?May be a stupid question but was just wondering.

i dont see how reducing the stress and bioload will crash a tank personally

unless you replace cichlids with nuclear waste i really dont see how it would be possible.

It would be fine no worries there man. Why the downsizing? And what 5 fish are you keeping ? Just curious.

I didnt think it would but ive never reduced number of fish as fast as im about to.Im going from keeping africans to south americans.Im keeping 2 synodontis and 3 clown loaches.Thanks for the info.I figured it would make better water but just an idiot question.
