Crawdads in fish tank?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I had a few in my one of my tanks that I caught in my minnow trap I use for catching bait. I tossed them in and they seemed to do fine in the drastic water temp difference. Up until I added a little more salt to the tank I came down and they had all died. So in my experience they do fine provided you don't have too much salt in the water

I had some crawfish in my community tank (fast moving fish) and the little turds ate like 3 of my fish. I will never own crawfish again...unless i'm gonna cook them.

But don't forget the charm of crays as a centerpiece creature.

And there are hundreds more, most of them amazing and worthy of keeping in their own right.

If tire track eel big enough, it eat crawdad find crawdad very yummy also good nutrition, but not cheap.
well, with the price of crayfish on the market, I would say it is pretty cheap!

In my experiences, this one works great with fish. I had one that got massive, and never bothered my fish. My smaller fish would often hide right in front of his face, between his claws and he didn't care. Of course, I kept this crayfish very well fed.
