Crawfish question.

can some direct me to an old thread that talks about crawfish?

next month ima buy a sack and boil them. are they fully aquatic? because i have an extra tank that i could put some in...just wonderin.. thanks for any info!

Boil them? Are you going to eat them? Every once in awhile I'll buy 4 of them. 3 will go in the large tank, and 1 in the Piranha tank. They do a great job of keeping the bottom clean, at least until they get eatin. They do not need to come up and breath air like crabs, if that's what you mean by fully aquatic.

ya we eat a ****load of crawfish here in southeast texas. get a 40 lbs sack of them for about $45 next month. so i can throw these guys in a tank and they can live without having land?

their going in my spair tank. my roomate has an oscar, and i have a alligator snapper and 7 red devils:naughty: ill prolly put alot in that tank and take some out for little treats...
 
manj you get the crawfish cheap. We have to pay like three dollars a pound.

haha their $2.69 a lbs right now but next month when they start to over flow the trucks they get cheap... aka next month. where u live?
 
georgia, thats the cheapest that the price goes down to here.
