Hi all, I've currently got a 3.5-4" blue lobster, which I got for a friend for free :headbang2. I was at one of my LFS' today, and the guy there showed me a 4" white lobster that he had ordered just because he'd never seen one before. He offered it to me for what he payed for it, $12.50 :D.

My question is, will these two crayfish be able to co-habitate in the same aquarium with any issues? I've kept groups of P. clarkii together before without issue, but I thought I'd double check.

The tank is currently a 20L, filtered with 2 AC20's. There is a bunch of hornwort, a fake cave, and a small broken clay pot for cover. There are also several small branches of driftwood. There are a pair of young kribensis sharing the tank at the moment as well.

Would this suffice for the pair of crays? I hope to upgrate the tank to a 30g or larger eventually.

Well, I went ahead and bought the white crayfish. I actually got it for $10 :D. I'll post some pics of both of them tomorrow. They spent the first 5 minutes checking each other out, and then the white started exploring the tank. Ate a couple small pellets, and then a big chunk of beefheart that was intended for the kribensis in the tank.

Mine are fine together. One gets a little bossy but nothing really happens. You should be okay.

as long as there are lots of places to hide you should have little trouble keepin them together. gotta be careful at moulting time though, they will prey on each other at moulting..
