Crayfish from petland.

So I got 3 crayfish today and right after I walked out I took the bag they were in out and noticed a crayfish had some long white looking things all over it body, So I went back and asked my friend that works their which he was standing near the manager and they both said eggs.
Now I thought that crayfish carry their eggs under there tail?
I'm new to the crazyfish thing so I don't know anything, I've been searching for answers on google but can't find anything.

Yes, a female cray will carry the eggs in her swimmerets (under her tail)

So the long looking salt looking things are a parasite? Doesn't look like ick, more like taste buds on a human tonge.

They would not be eggs - but could very well be babies staying on mom.

Most definitely post some pics. I’ve had Marble Crays for several years now and never seen any "(long white looking things all over it body)".

Ok so what ever it was came off after the cray molted, sorry for no pics it's kinda hard for me since I have an iPad.
