Hey guys, I bought a crayfish last week. So I feed it pieces of frozen fish- everything is fine. But it wastes like hell. A lotta litter on the floor of the tank. How should I clean it? By siphoning? If so, isn’t there any other method coz it’s too messy to do all the time.

Do they eat only plant matter?....best feed it what it naturally eats as close as you can.Whatever you feed it you are probably going to have the waste issue unless you have some serious filtration in place.
In the meantime, syphoning would be the best way to go as far as removal so the stuff doesn't break apart while it is being removed.

Flint town!
They are omnivores. They will eat most stuff you feed. I have a breeding colony. I feed them basically what I feed my fish with alot of algae tabs, carnivore pellets and blanched kale and some other veggies.
