crayfish sheds

What do you do with your cray sheds i always find there a part of the cray and i cant throw them away so i stick them to my bedroom door ascending in size

Arnt you supposed to leave the shell in the tank? I heard that they eat them and it's good for them, i could of heard wrong mind.

i have always left them in the tank and they are gone within 48 hours.

Ive heard that to but mine never eat them, i feed them cuttlefish anyway so that ups their calcium levels.

another thing i have heard of but not done is crush them up and toss them right back in.

I always feed em to my puffers, triggers, or peacocks, but it is a good idea to leave it in the tank. Whether they eat it or not, something probably will..

I have crushed them up before and added it to the fish food but it depends on how nice the shed is.
