depends on what you are feeding?
I recently picked up a marbled cray at about 1/2 inch...she is now almost an inch and should berry up soon. Im feeding Sculpin with them.^_^.

Agree with Kaosu, depends on what your feeding if you should feed crays, personally i breed marbles, but thats only for my fahaka...
Started off with 2 small half inch crays, and although one has since passed, the other is now almost fully grown at roughly 4"+ and just berried... looks like shes carrying a few hundred eggs this round easily...

my bichir seems to love crayfish. i never intend for them to get eaten, but they always end up an expensive shellfish dinner when they molt.
