I will make this quick and brief , Im not Einstein thats obvious (this is a personnel observation) Im going to speak of fish and their environment and redecorating the tank .
I run my lights and my heater (if heater required) on the same timer so that at night my fish loose a few 5deg or so , I believe keeping the fish in a fluctuating temperature is better than A steady gives them different environment .
I have 3 power heads that I run on separate timers so that I can run 1 - 2 - or 3 at once and mix it up and sometimes I run no power heads(explicitly at night) .
Every week when I water change I switch my decor around in the tank in a big way < find it fun for me and the fish ( I get to discover my hand at art with decor)
I run my lights in a five day repeating sequence (turn on at 12pm then 1 then 2 exc...... Off at 9 10 exc ....
{{SO IN THEORY I believe my fish by constantly experiencing change in their environment is healthy both mentally and physically my fish seem to thrive and all ways are on the move exploring never having a dull moment}}
Would it not be boring as a son of a %^&*( to have the same current , same decor , and my day light the same day in and out .
