I've been lacing my cichlid pellets with mega man pro performance vitamins. Are these supplements harmful to my severums? I've been feeding it and my fish got really color ful and the eyes have looked cooler ever since. Anyone know if i should stop this? Thanks

I have no idea, but I would think that a prouduct that is made to help inhance the human body may be detremental to the fishes health. If it was me, I wouldn't do it, cause you don't know if it would have any negative long term affects on the fish, or shorten their life.

If you don't mind saying, what made you think of trying this in the first place?

I have heard of people soaking pellets in liquid centrum (multi-vitamin) to enhance color...
However I feel that a balanced diet of a good staple, some froken krill, bloodworms, and spirulina will be all the trick that you need.
I look at it this way, people have been keeping cichlids for a long time, most of the game is figured out and if a good number of well-educated fish keepers (and there are many of them on here) aren't suggesting this method for enhancement then I wouldn't bother doing it.
I take these vitamins for myself and there are so many nutrients that would never be introduced to fish in the wild so it might be tough on there digestive system...

I'm not at all saying I'm right, just me 2 cents!:character0004:

i bought some so called fish vitames before they didnot do anything except cloud the water. if you get results from real vitamens i say keep diong it

umm, Imho if it makes your fish healthy than do it.. but giving fish :chillpill: could have a bad outcome

yea put in sum of the stuff im taking...anator-p70,creakic,ctytogainer,and if u feel ur fish need extreme pumps give em sum no-xplode....>
