Crazy Jag!!

I have a Jag that I thought was a male bet turned out to be a female in a 120 by itself. It moved over a 100Lbs of rock and laid eggs. I cant even put my hand in the tank without getting snapped at. How long will this last? My fish is usaully pretty laid back. Anyone?

If there are no other fish in the tank to fertilize the eggs, they will soon turn white and fungus over, and she will forget about them. Then you will have your gentle Jag back.

My luck I would get another female. She bit the crap out of my finger. I am thinking about wearing gloves next time I try and move stuff around the tank.
