So I have 5 or more pregnant fish at any time they are all hybrids but that is what I like because you never know what you are going to end up with. Up until now my favorite baby was mixed with a rusty and something else it has a brown/blue color that is just crazy. But now I saw this one dont know what it is but i love hiw it looks.

Looks 100% like an EB Acara
It might be 50% that but it is definitely not a pure bread. I was looking around my tank and I don't see another fish that looks like that one. But in my tank it's impossible to see every fish. I have a pleco that I only see once every 3 months Same thing with some yo yo loaches

Hmmm. Do you have both a male and female eba? I see you've listed some Africans, pretty sure they can't or don't crossbreed. If you don't see certain fish for months at a time can you be sure that if you have both a male and female eba that they didn't breed?

Nether me or my wife have saw any fish that look like that one. One day when we were looking at the tank is when we saw the baby. We both went dam thats a cool looking baby lol. I also don't juat have africans , this tank is one in the most diversed thanks I've ever seen. As far as not seeing fish for months I would think I would have saw at least one of them or more baby's. I'm not a 100% sure about my stocking there were times I went into fish stores and bought entire tanks of fish. Is was hard to get that many fish that are not all the same. I completely agree it looks just like one

Yeah that looks like an EBA. There's no way it just appeared in your tank by itself.
I haven't bought new fish for this tank in over 9 months maybe more there is no way that fish is that old. It was definitely bread in this tank. Not disagreeing on what kind of fish it is just don't think it is a pure bread. Some rusty cichlid look just like normal but I know I only have one female in the tank only one rusty cichlid in the tank. Sometimes mothers nature dose unexplainable things.

My dogs had puppy and not one puppy looks like the parents or each other. I have included pictures of the dogs both of them have the same parents could you tell lol.
