It's probably been 4 weeks since we last saw our Hippo Tang, gave'm up for dead. Yesterday I hear noises comin' outta one of the baffles like something was stuck making it gurgle - sure enuff there was - the dang Hippo Tang. Had to pull the pipe to get'm out buy he was really none the worse for wear. Her colors were a lil' drowned out but after a few hours of grazing on seaweed they came around. She musta jumped the baffle wall and has been living on uneaten food, was quite the pleasant suprise to get her back esp being a $60 fish and my wifes fav.

Hippos are hell bent on destruction I think.
If there is any way for them to get damaged, they will. Perfect ones are so rare...and Im still kicking myself for losing my perfect one a couple months back.
