.
well the other day I picked up a male and female feeder mouse from petco and damn!!

ok I get home and my friend drops em in my 10 gallon tank with the feeder crickets and it seriously looked like two mini cougars hunting prey, like they ran after and jumped on the crickets and actually ate the ones they killed:screwy:

well i removed the crickets to there own little thing and like i relized that mice wernt good to feed fish so now i am keeping them, but they only eat meaty foods its crazy, like i have mouse food and bird seeds even, but nope all they will eat is crickets and june bugs:screwy: oh and my gfriend bought two little live fuzzies for his lepard gekos and i put em in with the mice and came back seriously 5 mins later and one of them was half eaten?

rediculous, so i decided to keep them and i think appropriatly named them madusa and lucifer!! ahaha

anyone ever hear of this? what should i do leave it how there diet is or try and feed em regular mouse food?

Ok a couple things here:

Mice will eat baby mice that aren't their own offspring.

While mice are opportunistic omnivores and will eat most anything, if you want them to be healthy, they need a low-protein diet. Stick with rat/mouse food instead.

"lepard geko" is actually spelled "Leopard Gecko."

Hope that helps clear things up for you.

lol dont feel bad I cant spell ether. I used to keep gerbils in an outdoor enslosure for part of the summer and they would kill any bug that came near them. but they did'nt eat them! lol I agree stick with mouse food, it was made spacificly for them.

yeah i bought them to breed for there babies to be food, but anyway i left some mouse food in there over night and it hasnt been touched however the june bugs and crickets that were still hiding are now gone?
