Crazy peacock bass jump?

HOLY CRAP!!!

I've been super busy with work, and haven't fed my 125g setup in 2 days....I just got home @ 3am and was about to hit the sack, then remembered to throw in some hikari before doing so. I turned on the lights on one side, and put in some massivore delite...

My arowana and monoculus were grabbing pieces soon as they hit the surface...all the sudden my temensis comes rocketing from the bottom of the tank..it literally happened so fast id idnt even know wtf was going on....i swear to god the fish hit my ceiling and was flopping around on my floor a good 5'+ feet away from the tank..took me a second to even grasp wtf just happened

luckily i was able to scoop him up and get him back into the tank..he has some scrapes on his side, but he seemed fine once he got back in...

thats first experience ive ever had with a fish jumping..well once my huge tire track eel jumped out a bucket while i was transferring him to a new tank

was pretty crazy..my computer desk is right next to my tank and there was water all over freaken nething..

Bass are knowing to jump and splash during feeding. They get pretty worked during feeding. Other than that they're a pretty chill fish. I would've thought your aro would jump before the bass did.

I am always getting soaked at feeding time. I have to put a sign up like an amusement park to reduce liability!

lol my computer is right next to the tank also. i back it up weekly =)
