Hi, I walked in the house the other night to my red devil going crazy, twitching and attacking the inside of his cave. It's the first time I've seen this and just wondered if it's a normal thing...... He only ever dose it when the lights are off so the video I have attached is not the best quality but you can still see him in action.

Lmao... Yes this is normal my RD did this alot when he was about 5 inches. It was the beginning of his aggression coming out

Haha, major fail! Should be public now...... I've got and have had aggressive fish but never seen them going crazy in the dark in their own cave.
 
I did think he was acting a bit frustrated, he is getting very friendly with my oscar but i dismissed it as I didn't think it would be possible or even happen.... They are very defensive over their side of the tank.
