So after work today I fed my fish and forgot to close the lid. That was at about 5. About an hour ago I'm at the store and my wife calls and says she has to tell me something. One of my fish jumped out and she says it's dead. 12" endli. I tell her to just throw it back in the tank. After rushing home he was in the tank. Breathing hard but alive. My wife saved my fish

Long story short. Don't leave your lids open after feeding. Lol

Hopefully he recovers fully. If he hadn't been out that long. But I have had fish that jumped I put them back in thought they would recover only to have them die a day or two later.
