Have had a lot of PM's about them and possible fry. The female might need another week of power feeding, but since adjusting has made sure she has his attention. I apologize for the algae, but they make it extremely hard to algae scrub there. I really love the markings on my new female. The white with yellow markings are spectacular. Also, the yellow is a great contrast to Junior's bright red/orange. Going to do my best to try and hook up "Mad About Cichlids" with some Midas to grow out. Be nice if Blue Demp keeps some too, lol.

On a side note I really need to thin out these salvini.

Also, just for kicks here is my old Creamsickle pair. Also from Jeff Rapps. Man there is a lot of difference between 2.1MP and 12.1PM.

Midas are my flagship fish. They will always be first in my heart.

Both the old pair and new pair looks pretty similar even the female. That junior is a beast I am getting midas fever.

Yep, mine too man.
makes me want to get rid of my Dovii :-)
Nah, just get that 300g so you have a spot for them. ;)
Great video! Could grab a beer and watch your tank for hours. Well I may need a six pack:drool:
Thanks man, I have been asked about doing no stop streaming, but the kids would mess that up for sure. Thanks

Yeah, I have come full circle with them. I have always loved the Creamsickles the most.
Even the female has clear fins. Can't wait to raise the frys from those two.
Yeah, the fading is insane on their fins. Adds a nice glaze. I am pushing to get them to breed. They are sitting in the pot pretty tight right now, so it just might happen.

Great looking pair. Your male looks happier now;) I can't wait for my new midas arrivals to show up tomorrow:)
