Picked up this unique kkp on labor day. Its about 4 to 5", cant wait to see it larger


All its fins are white, has some orange on the pectoral fins.

Should i keep it over dark aubstrate? Using white sand for now.

i reckon in darker substrate the colour would stand out more making the fish looking more colourful

What is it then? 'low grade' regular parrot?

its a parrot. not a kkp. I'm still not sure how creamsicles are made.

I moved it to dark gravel and it's red color is solid and stable like at the shop. one other cool note about this fish is that it's 'pattern' or color I guess is symetrical on both sides. And the part of his gills that you can't see unless it flares, is all orange.

I love this fish, hope it can spawn with something.
