Thus far I'm looking at plain topsoil, mixed with red clay and some playsand to replicate the blackwater pools of Borneo. There will be a layer of dried botanicals over the substrate, but no true cap on the soil.
I may be able to get used carnivorous plant soil, but I have to find out its exact make up first.
You guys have any suggestions?
