Creating Tropical Pond for Catfish in UK??!!

Hi, we're planning a tropical pond for tiger shovelnose and red tail cats. Live as far south in the UK as possible to go!

Thinking of something approx 12 x 6 x 4.

We need some help now!! Unsure on filtration, heating etc etc. Any advice, pics, ideas would be most appreciated.

Are you going to winter over these fish in this pond?

Budget?

Appearance (do you need it pretty)?

Are you good with DIY or willing to try?

Hi,

The DIY side of things isn't a problem, can do all that ourselves. Needs to look fairly good as at the bottom of the garden and on view from the house. The fish will need to stay in the pond over winter as don't have room in my 550 litre tank for one let alone three or four!!

Budget? Not sure. Approx £3,000 I expect but obviously the lower the better!!
