Creative DIY enclosure ideas. need some help and ideas please!

Long story short. My younger brother has been taking care of my big igg for the past few months for me and recently my big guy has had an attitude twords my bro and my father so now I am forced with having to either A) relocate him in a new home or B) get creative and bring him to live with me.



Here's the issue though. I want to try and find something I can convert into an enclosure for him. So I either want to do that or build him a a cage from PVC and wire mesh like I had before.

Any pics advice any input would be helpfull. I know this sounds bad but I would rehome any of my reps except my big guy. Been through to much to give him up.

look for an old shower stall
may be a little small but all you would need to do is make a top and it would hold humidity
Im sure you could find one, my buddy has his rescued igg in a bathtub/shower unit
its a bath tub with a glass sliding door and he has the shower head hooked up for easy mistings id get you some pics but he sold it to some other guy as hes moving to another province

well i got home from work and i did some measuring. the stand that my buddy and myself built is 6 feet long and about 2.5 feet wide so i am planning on making a PVC and mesh cage (6 long, 3 wide and 3.5 tall) i know it isnt ideal but that the biggest i can go for now( i free roamed him everyday while living at home) but i figure with it being 3.5 feet tall and it being on the stand that will put his basking shelf at about 6 feet plus in teh air, which should do fine for him as a temp cage.


the only thing that i dont like about this whole situation is i have to sacrafice the monitors. as much as i like them they will be the easiest for me to give up. a buddy of mine is going to buy the whole setup i have for them now. im kinda taking a hit on that but it has to be done. dont know whats gotten into him he was never violent before but hes been horrible. i went in to see him yesterday while at my parents and he was fine with me but as soon as he sees anyone else he goes spastic.

i will keep everyone updated i hopeing to make this move this weekend and at the latest next weekend as long as everything goes through with my buddy.
