I am on the hunt for plants to put in the monitor setup once my new cges come in and i was wondering if Creeping Fig - Ficus pumila is safe to use in enclosures. there are a few other plants i am looking at as well. but i like the fact that these will climb and grow fast

Ficus pumila is widespread in European Terraria because it grows fast and doesn't need much light. Only thing could be that the monitors would rip it apart easily because it's a small plant with small stems.

That's what I was worried about. But the thing that will help me is the monitors stay fairly small. I was on Black Jungle and I saw them and I liked them a lot for the reasons you posted above. I love the fact that they grow fast and that they will climb.
I may give them a shot, they are cheap. 5 or 6 bucks a plant. And along with the ferns and air plants I plan on getting for them it should turn out real nice.

Now I just need the other half of my tax check so I can order the damn enclosures lol
