Crenchila xingu is it worth it?

I was offered a female crenchila xingu for 25 bucks. The guy said it is in a tank by herself with some sort of scale problem. I do not of a quarantine tank for it. He also said he can not send me a pic because he does not have a camera phone.

Its worth it ..epson salt and tetra parasite gaurd will take care of the internal parasites..I did the same thing with my lenticulata..
