Looks like a crenicichla to me.

yup, some type of Saxtallis (sp) type pike based on the color and shape of the mouth.

For some reason when I first seen it, I thought it looked like a young cincta. I asked the guy about it and he said it came in with a batch of apistos from the San martin area of Peru. Hmmmmm... cincta is found in peru.

That is a good guess at the most though. It will probably turn out to be some type of Sax pike.

lol hoping for a cincta huh?

If it was from TwoFishGuyz it was a Crenicichla lucius...they were trying to sell it as Crenicichla strigata....lol. Would have been a great price for strigata....but not for lucius.....
