Crenicichla iniridae?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
a bigger closeup would be easier, but it almost looks like multispinosa

A better close up would help but it does look like C. sp. iniridae from a your shot. Iniridae have been popping up around the country as of lately.

From your new pics in the CA/SA section, it looks like a female sp. Iniridae 3 to me.

Click on "Arten" and on the right you will get the species list. They have a pic of a male Iniridae 3 there. Great site, even if it doesn't translate to English. Lots of pike pics I haven't found anywhere else.

@japbart, Where did you get the iniridae ??
Looks like you are the 2nd person in Cali to post them in today., but the other person got a direct import.
