johannas are cool-kind of the best of everything-sharp red eyes and dorsal, the black "pike stripe" sems to stick with them later in life than the others, and those cool grouch marx "eyebrows: and the johanna smile-a great all around pike

very nice. I'm tossing around the idea of getting some pikes. That is definitely a nod in the yes direction

Taz and Rasdbo could definately help you out in that area...;)

DW...whats up with the black saddles on her back? Doens't look normal? My sp. 'cobra's got something like it, think it was some kinda of bacterial infection. Might not be the same stuff though. Didn't really seem to affect the pikes either, so no worries if it is.

Hey Peanut
She has some unusual markings thats for sure. I got this female from Jeff and thats kind of the reason why i got her. Its the way she is. Jeff told me she had some of the coolest markings, almost like a saddle. It goes all the way down her dorsel area. I doubt its Bacterial on yours either. What would cause something like that? Could it be 2 different varients of Johanna breeding?

Can't really say, as its not too horribly common. Possible damage and healed over? Like heater burn? Maybe a modifyed variant? Or possible crossbreeding with the 'zombie' pikes...lol...looks great though!! Congrats!! Glad shes doing great!

i thought the 'zombie' pikes actually DID have a bacterial infection...looks the same as in
the zombie to me.
