A friend of mine is going to give me a pair of these. Has anyone kept these???? Has anyone successfully spawned these????

Yea im so excited. I hear they are ferociously aggressive. So they are going into their own 210 gallon tank until I can build a bigger tank

I believe so far only Dr. Wayne Leibel has bred them ... the top pic is his pair in breeding coloration.

My friend that is getting them for me is a breeder of apistos and he's actually going to Germany and bringing fish back. He said he would get me the pair from his friend whom I think is Dr Leibel........or a friend of the Dr.

Im not real sure. I know he is partnered up with Dr. Uwe Roemer

Dave likes small fish and I prefer the big nasty ones........lol
