Anyone keeping these? Might pick a few up in a week or 2. How is conspecific/heterospecific aggression when compared to say, the xingu complex or the venezuelan giants (the rougher pikes I guess?) They're coming in @ 3 inches ea, hoping to pick up at least 4.

I brought a young pair back from Uruguay, I have them in with a pair of minuano and a pair of chilodochulus in a 50 gallon tank, They squabble a little, but there is not a lot of real aggression, I have lots of PVC for them to hide in, they are all about 4-5", Eat anything including flake food. When they get a little bigger I plan to put each pair in it's own tank. Ken

Always a wonderful thing to hear when it comes to pike. That means that you can do anything with them at that point.:headbang2

Thanks for the help. They will be kept with a group of cetopsis cats (they're VERY well fed, they don't bother tankmates that aren't feeders), but they will be the only species of pike in the tank.
