Blast my cursed ISP...rrrrg! Spent tha last two hours just trying to get on to check it. Sorry for the delayed response. The picture quality is less than desirable, but it looks like its a Crenicichla vittata. Is it yours? They are totally awesome pikes! They are on my wish list for sure! Awesome pikes!

I bought it as a"C oscellatus" from a LFS about two weeks ago, if you remember.
It is about 6", shares an unheated 55 with a bigger Oscar. Eats for two.

Better pictures will confirm, but pretty sure thats what it is. I would get a heater in that tank PRONTO....they need higher temps, I keep all my pikes in 83 to 85 degrees. I have less problems with ich and their growth and health is much better. Plus it really makes the colors come out...
