pike are suposed to be bad with other fish,i want to try to add a pike of 9 to 10 inch with a pair of h.fasciatus in a 120g.do you think this is possible?personaly i think no, due to the power of the fasciatus but i ask the question because im not a expert in crenicihla.the pike will be probably a lenticulata or a sveni.

ps my hemichromis are big like 5 to 7 inch

CAN be bad with other fish. But can also be good with other fish. all depends on the other fish and available habitat. I don't know much about H.fasciatus other then they are african. I am supposing riverine since you want to put a pike with them. And at 9-10" a pike can be pretty aggro in it's own right, but if you have a breeding pair of H. fasciatus, look at convicts when they breed, they will attack anything. The pike may be able to hold it's own, but may be completely stressed and uncomfortable. If it is just one HF doing the attacking, it will get served, but if they team up.................you know the answer. If you want to keep HF, I suggest leaving out the pike.
