I have a bellycrawler in my 125 along with a yellow bullhead at the moment and jw what i could keep with him...i was thinkn of peacock bass and a clown knife but i know diddly about crenicichla so any suggestions would help!

will they be in the 125 for life? if so, the peacock bass and clown knife both get too large. with a larger tank and plenty of places for the bellycrawler to retreat then it could work. clown knives are huge fish and need huge tanks accordingly. if they are staying in the 125, then i would pick out a nice mild to medium mannered cichlid or two and some dithers that are too big to be food.
yea my buddy has a 300 gallon and will take them for me when they get big enough IF i dont have a tank that size at that time which i will more than likely have but if not they WILL have a home ...and my 125 will be good for a lil while anyways
