Crenicichla sp orinoco

Hi folks,

I have just got word that my two pairs of Crenicichla sp orinoco will be coming in from Colombia within the next 10 days or so. I am very excited they are on their way. Has anyone had any exprerience with these dwarfs? i have kept crenicichla compressiceps before and am setting up the tank in a very similar way.

I am looking to breed them and have set aside a 150l tank with plenty of bogwood, low light and plenty of caves/hiding spots for them but I would love to hear from anyone who has had success breeding these or other dwarf pikes on the parameters etc they had.

I haven't kept them, but have kept both dwarves found on either side of their range (noto's and the colombian cf. wallacii). You won't find much info on the sp. orinoco dwarves (sp. orinoco is a huge pike btw), so treat them like noto's basically. They shouldn't be as aggressive as compressiceps to each other thankfully.
