I recently bought 3 of them and 2 seem to be singling the other out and that is the one that looks to be fairly skinny and not eating I have plenty guppies in the tank for feeders as well as bloodworms 1-2 times a day. What should I do?
Well, chances are if those two have paired up they are gonna hound the snot outa that one solo pike. Best you can do is either separate them, or just keep feeding them. I'm sure it'll manage to get some food.
well i bought some ghost shrimp and he finally ate a couple days ago today around 7pm i found him dead. Damn I was going to go back to the lfs and try to swap it for something else but he died I guess i move on....
keep an eye on the other two. crenicichla are very aggressive to other crenicichla, you could have a male and female that are bonding which would be great. but like u mentioned, usually the smallest and weakest gets picked on and ive seen some of my pikes chase the others away when they try to eat.
