I used to keep a pike lepidota and an oscar together, but I was just wondering what other fish have ya'll keepers had luck mixing with other cichlids?

my old johanna would beat down or kill any tankmate i had him with. when he was put in another tank next to the big one, he would attack the glass over and over again trying to get to them.
depends on the fish and size tank. i have a johanna in with my dovii and red devils. johanna is in the bottom of the pecking order. he has size but no match for my red devils or 10 male dovii.
