Can try Jeff Rapps at tangled up in cichlids. He has some in stock.

They are aggressive large pikes. Will likely get to 14-16inches + in most home aquariums. Will take most pellets offered. Tankmates need to be big to stand up to this kind of pike. Need big tank of 100g plus.

Undescribed group or species from Venezuela that they are calling "sp. Venezuela", very similar to a strigata but the true strigatas are incredibly rarely imported. These guys are cool pikes, definitely on the aggressive side but I have a large pair, they live with large silver dollars just fine. I have heard they grow to 16" and have seen some pics of huge ones. Mine have been 12"-13" for a year or so and don't seem to be growing quickly. For care I would agree a 100+ gallon tank, and unless the tank is 300+ gallons, they may have to be the only cichlid(s). They live ok together in smaller tanks (100-125, etc) in pairs once bonded.

Agree with both above. A “standard” large pike if ever there was one. In large enough tanks, they will mostly ignore non pike tankmates unless one makes the mistake of picking a fight. Juveniles have attractive striping with red highlights in their fins. Adult females get an attractive pink abdomen.

kno4te kno4te is correct that they can get to 16”. Mostly bottom-mid oriented in the water column. Undemanding with regard tk water parameters and food. An “easy” pike that often serves as ones introduction to the genus.
