Does anyone have experience putting zebrina with cichla? I know they are more docile in groups , I've dabbled into the idea of adding one to my 450 gallon with my cichla but I've heard mixed stories... I also know they get more aggressive with age. Anyone with experience putting the 2 together please let me know your experiences.
Crenicichla zebrina with bass

I've done it before maybe a year or 2 ago with absolutely no problems. My zebrina was about 14" and my bass was about 16-18". lost my stock at that time to a power outage from a storm. I'll look through my old threads and see if i can find and post some pics. Just remember each fish has it's own personality.
Currently I have a pair of Zebrinas in with my bass, no problems at all. The pikes are 10 and 12.5 inches. The bass are a good 9 inches and have been in the tank probably 8 months before the pikes went in about a month ago. Tank size is a 220g.
