Crested Gecko Pictures, What color For the Background looks Best?

I ALSO posted this in lizard and chelonia pics. But I was trying some different base background colors for pics. Black Seems to bring out his colors the best. What do you think?

i think it would also depend on the color of the crested to pick out the best background for it. for darker ones i think blue or white would look good and for lighter ones black would look best

Purple, black seems to wash the colour out in my eyes.

like i said in the other, blue. With cresties may be a bit different though, just because of how much they change in colour.
