alright, so i was wondering...crested geckos need to be kept at like 60 at night and 75 during the day...so can they climb screen lids? if so when if i put a heat lamp on the screen lid while in the winter to keep the daytime heat up then would it burn there feet? just a question thats been on my mind...

They can but I wouldn't worry about it. The heat lamp will need to be very low wattage. Having a basking spot under the lamp will provide them the option without having to get too close.

You don't need a heat lamp for crested geckos. I keep mine in room temp year round and they are prolific in every sense. Keep it simple, you'll be much happier you did

If you need heat in the winter, then set a lamp above the tank, without letting it get too close to the top. Keep it at least a couple inches away. that will provide heat without the risk of the gecko's burning themselves.

This, I have a clamp lamp one a good 3-4 inches above my crested's tank.

I have to use a 40 watt heat emitter on my adults tank because I keep it in my basement where it's a constant 65-67 F. all year long.
