My 2 Crested Gecko's aren't eating and I don't know what to do and i'm starting to panic now because i've had them for 2 weeks and none of them have eaten anything! I have tried feeding them crickets but they wouldn't eat and I wanted to know if there is anything I can do to urge them to eat. Would they eat Fruit? Minnows? Vegies?

-You guys might know me because I posted a thread about my Crested Gecko losing its tail. I have a picture of them. :)

how is your tank setup?
humidity?
temps? and so on.

also they might be eating and you just didnt notice. try leaving them alone for a few days. no handling and so on and i bet they will start feeding

What are you feeding them? What were they being fed when you bought them? I've found that if you feed baby food some geckos like particular flavors that others don't. My friend has a pair that will only eat peach flavored baby food. My crested will eat mango, banana, papaya and peach baby food. She isn't very picky.

That substrate looks very dry, how many times are you misting?
uh oh i think i made a mistake im only a beginner and i didnt know that i had to mist. Mist do you mean spray the substrate or spray them. I have a water dish in there for them.

well u never really see them eat. normally once u turn of the lights and put cgd in the tank they eat that.

so your saying.... uve never misted them?!
wow
looks like someone forgot to research...

Yeah I thought the substrate looked really dry too. Keep it moist by misting the cage twice a day. These guys need humidity and don't drink from a dish. They'll drink the water drops off the glass and plants. Also, what's the temperature in the tank? Cresteds stress when they get too warm and some will refuse to eat.
