what is the normal tank size that you can keep a crested gecko in for LIFE?

Id say that one would be good in a 20 tall they are arboreal so its better to go with height rather than length

I use to keep a breeding pair in a planted 30 gallon tall completely scaped ...Also Use bamboo in the aquarium..great shelter and it's more space to climb in and out.

20g x-high is a great sie. It has the footprint of a 10g but is twice as tall. My 6" long male is in a 10g, but I have a 20 x high for him to move into. To tell you the truth hough he seems alright to me in the 10 for now. BTW, your gonna have alot of fun with a crestie, they are a great herp and very friendly.

Thanks everyone, i might get one but how long can they live in a 10 gallon for? and how long do they get?

I would move it to a bigger tank when it gets about 6in long. You could probably keep it in a 10 for life but the bigger and taller the better. In my exp, they usually get about 8" but you sometimes see big ones at 10in.
