I just got a 5-6inch Silver arowana, and he eats nothing but crickets. He comes up to the top when he sees me grabbing the bag, so a few times I have mixed in a few Hikari Pellets, trying to trick him into thinking one of the pellets was a cricket but no luck. He only eats crickets!

Is this a bad thing?

Also, whats the best way to store crickets? I have been feeding him around a dozen crickets a day, and its getting a little bit annoying running to the pet store every day to grab a dozen.

I HATE TOUCHING THEM!

any help would be cool!

Thanks!

You could always starve him into eating whatever you feed. He is old and strong enough to go through it at that size. Hardest thing about that is waiting him out!

If you stay with crickets then I would gutload them and then freeze then for the added convenience.

Just starve the little bugger and keep trying with the pellets. it will accept no matter what soon:D
