Crimson Eel Questions!

recently at my LFS, they've been stocking this so called "Crimson Eel", and I tried searching up info on it but so far got nothing. Anyone know anything about this eel? How big it gets, etc? Its red all over, hence the name Crimson, if that helps!

The only crimson "eel" I can think of is the red eel goby, Caragobius rubristriatus.

I'll get you guys a pic next time i rock up to the LFS. Its kept in full SW as far as I see.

Did you serach the goby from above??
I dont think its an eel it just has a similar body shape.
Not sure if its a goby but if its what im thinking of its def not an eel.

It looked similar to that, but the one that I saw was red, and the image I found in Google are more pinky. I dunno, gonna go to the LFS tomorrow again, so I'll take some photos.

Did it have like a streamer type thing hanging off it?? We have sold some small fairly bright red eel looking things before. Sold to us as flame eels but im pretty sure its a goby. And its a reef goby, not a dragon goby which i think your pic is. Did it have a huge mouth or a smallish mouth?
