id like to no if anyone has found a crinoid 4 sale or somehting...:D

I've seen basket starfish for sale at one time or another, probably as close to crinoids as you are going to find. Most crinoids are deep or very cold water animals and would probably never be collected commercially under most circumstances.

ive heard they're realy hard to keep,is it true.
how big do they get?

Honestly I've never heard of anyone successfully keeping crinoids long term. They feed on live planktonic crustaceans, brine shrimp might support them for a while but I would think they need better nutrition than nothing but brine shrimp possibly cyclops-eeze might do the trick.

ok cuz i got my hands on a crinoid squat lobster and ive heard a lot of opinions on it and i heard the need it and dont/idk/it probably died by now cuz its been hiding 4 a cuple weeks ow and i cant find it

I am very sorry but I think we have a failure to communicate. This what i was talking about.

I've never heard of squat lobster called a crinoid. Do you have any picks? A squat lobster should eat pretty much anything made of meat, fish, shrimp, worms. They are usually very easy to get to eat and relatively easy to keep.

...a crinoid squat lobster is one thing which supposedly lies in a crinoid...but a crinoid is something else...

Ok, now we are on the same page, good luck, i would imagine your squat lobster would do well on cyclopsezze or tiny bits of shrimp. To bad no crinoid to display him in. In the wild he probably eats what the crinoid eats.

Crinoids :headbang2feed by filtering small particles of food from the sea water with their feather like arms. Some fossil crinoids, such as Pentacrinites, seem to have lived attached to floating driftwood and complete colonies are often found. Sometimes this driftwood would become waterlogged and sink to the bottom, taking the attached crinoids with it. :WHOA:The stem of Pentacrinites can be several metres long. Modern relatives of Pentacrinites live in gentle currents attached to rocks by the end of their stem, which is fairly short. The largest fossil crinoid on record had a stem 40 m (130 ft) in length:ROFL:
