8 guppies
10 cardinal tetras
6 black neon tetras
5 otos
4 silver hatchet
2 dutch ram
(this is the stock i had before things started dieing off se other threads)

said my stock is 105%
filtration is 91%
water change 39% per week

so it sounds like i need more of a filteration i have another marineland 150 that i can use im unsure of safty for my fish i was told that guppies do not like alot of movement in the water and was wondering if this is true

also if i want to add this other filter should i then just cut a hole in the other side of the cover ???

other things in my tank are mopani wood and some decorations the largest beaing a volcano and then three air stones and i have been looking to do a co2 stone, also i have it planted with bamboo in the tank

just want my tank to sparkle when people look at it and want my fish to be happy

all ideas welcome

Add a 100 micron filter after your filter floss and set the flow so the water doesn't over flow the pads. Have two sets of micron pads and switch'm out when they're exhausted.

I know I'm new, but let me say this. I have a 55 gallon tank (freshwater) and I'm running an eheim ecco 2236 and an ac110. My water couldn't be any crispier than it is right now. I absolutely love it. Every time someone comes to my house they comment on my tank and how clear the water is.
