Where the cheeseheads are..
Hey all,
saw the other thread about someone's hystrix passed away a week after her companion's death
sorry for your loss...
makes me wonder about the critical period for them..
I know that there are silent deaths and it can happen for a perfectly healthy ray (active, eating and no symptoms at all) ..
But just give me an opinion pls,
how long will your ray acclimate and become stable from the first day he/she arrived ?
I'm just wonderin if at some point I can stop worryin ?
Can I sleep well after 1 or 2 weeks?

Thanks

some rays it takes up to 3 weeks for them to decide to eat!, i personnally would say wild rays could be up to a couple months, your pearls you got were captive bred so thats a little different, all they know is tank life

your rays went through some stress being shipped.... they should adjust in a week or 2
