done some reading on these guys and decided to start setting up. right now im trying to put together a house. i saw a setup on youtube of mostly water at the bottom of an aquarium with rock and a small dry area and branches above. not sure if thats the best way to go or of bathing dishes are better. also i have a spare aquarium, not sure if its 30 or 40 gallons. would that be better than one of those exo-terra terrariums? i know they need almost 100% humidity so im aware exo terra would house humidity better but i have no problem fabricating a plexiglass top for the aquarium. any help in other areas with these skinks is appreciated too. also looking for a reputable breeder, but please no "deals" right now, id like to get one in a month or two MINIMUM, maybe longer.

I've been wanting to get a pair of croc skinks for a while. That youtube video you're talking about sounds like a little too wet of a habitat for one. Someday when I do get a pair my enclosure design will be sort of a river tank with about 1/3 water and 2/3 land since they're found in the wild along riverbanks.

I can't think of a breeder off the top of my head but you could check out the classifieds on Kingsnake.com.

What size tank are you thinking of using? I think when the time comes I'd like to use a 40 breeder since it has a better footprint of a ground dwelling reptile.

whatever i need. im playing with buying an exo terra terrarium, my aquarium, or buying something else. my tanks dimensions are 30L 12W 12H

wouldn't height play a factor more than footprint due to the fact they like to be in trees a lot

Ehh....I suppose but everything I've read says they spend more time on the ground than in the trees. You could go with a higher tank if you wanted to.
