crocodile emerald pike?

was at the lfs yesterday n noticed a weird dark torpedo lookin fish labled as a crocodile emerald pike. guy that worked there said it gets to about 18" or so. sounds cool as **** but i searched online n can't find **** about it. they looked nothing like pikes tho

its head looked like its tail? sorry if this is confusing i jus wanna kno what species it was so i can find more about it. thanks

sounds like it's in the Luciocephalus family. Try googling it and see what you get.

LFS by me got something they're calling "Emerald Crocodile Fish"...it looks like Luciocephalus Pulcher to me.

Here is the L. pulcher (pic by Teigler), if they have these please tell me how much? they only get about 8" max.

I visited the store again today, and they still have the same three for $40 each...I took a pic with my phone, so it's pretty crappy but you get the idea.

My friend had a couple of these. He got them on impulse. They died about a week later He loved them while he had them though.

Think the common name is pike gourami. but not sure.
